Samsung has unveiled Galaxy Tab 3, which follows the Galaxy range in terms of style. However, unlike other Samsung tablets, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 comes with standard Samsung home button at the bottom. In addition, it has the back and more buttons which are closed to the home button.
The new tablet is powered by 1GHz dual core and runs on Jelly Bean 4.1 version. The 7-inch tablet is fitted with a TFT display screen and comes with 1 GB RAM. There are two variants for this new tablet: 8 GB internal memory and 16 GB internal memory. This can be expanded up to 64GB using MicroSD card slot.
Compared to the Tab 2, it seems that Tab 3’s main advantage is video calling. Screen resolution and battery capacity are the same as Tab 2. However, it is lighter at just over 300g.
Samsung hasn’t announced pricing yet however, customers expect that the new Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 will be cheaper compared to Nexus 7 and iPad Mini.
