Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy S4 mini. Thought to be unveiled on July, analysts believe that the South Korean tech giant was “forced” to unveil the new device sooner after it accidentally leaked images on its own website.
Galaxy S4 Mini is a compact version of Galaxy S4 handset, which was launched in March. It weights 107g and it features 8MP camera, 4.3-inch screen, and it has dual-core processor.
The company is expected to announce information about price details and release dates at an even in London this month.
In other related news, Samsung also announced Galaxy Tab 3 in two more sizes which will be available this summer. Consumers now have the option between 8-inch and 10.1-inch models of the Android tablet aside from the 7-inch version.
The devices have pre-installed Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system and feature 1.5 GHz Dual Core processor and 1280x800 screen which is capable of displaying images in 189PPI.
In addition, the device has 5-megapixel camera on the rear and a 1.3 megapixel camera in front.
Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 3 line will be available in UK later this year. Pricing and release dates are yet to be confirmed.
