British funny man Rowan Atkinson has managed to rack up a staggering bill of an estimated £910,000 by crashing his McLaren car. The car crash, which happened in 2011, involved the actor hitting a tree.
As a result of the smash, Rowan’s insurance company decided to have the supercar, which can reach up to speeds of 240mph, repaired.
And technicians set to work on the vehicle, which is thought to have been worth £3million, but it is believed it took around a year to complete the job.
The cost of the pay-out for the McLaren F1 car is understood to be the highest on record, with one particular insurance company paying out a huge sum of money in 2010.
Rowan, who is 58 and famously known as Mr. Bean, the hapless star of the TV programme Mr. Bean, suffered from a shoulder injury as a result of the crash.
