Emmerdale It's been an explosive week in Yorkshire as Andy's mental state deteriorated following the recent shock revelations surrounding his wife's affair with his brother. Seething and distraught, he went in search of the cheating roguish runt Robert wielding a shotgun. In a moment of frenzy, the grimacing grimy grumpy farmer gunned down father Jack, mistaking him for his sneaky sibling. Easy mistake to make.
As poor old farmer Jack lay unconscious in hospital, the warring brothers embraced after heartfelt apologies having corroborated over a story for the local coppers.
Downtrodden Diane returned from her holiday to demand answers from the wincing duo, and as things started to become clear, the young tearaway would-be-murderer panicked about the outcome of his treacherous actions. Will he go down for a crime he did commit? Surely not. Will Jack come through? Will Katie stop moaning like an animal? Too much time on the farm for her.
Elsewhere, boisterous Bob spotted tinkering Terry and luscious Louise sharing a tender moment and proceeded to tell drippy Dawn all about it. Furious, the single mum lambasted stroke victim Tez for his betrayal and told the courts that he was an unfit father.
Louise vowed to persuade dozy Dawn that the clinch was just a mistake and amicable relations were restored between the separated couple. Lovely.
Coronation Street The Todd-Karl-Sarah saga rumbled on this week as the soon-to-be father continued to express his angst over his perilous situation as he tried to come to terms with losing his lover-boy. Finding it hard to be away from the naughty nurse, tempestuous Todd decided to throw all his attention into his future wife. Aware of Eileen and Katy's uncertainty over his decision, will the young adulterer confront his demons and tell sulky Sarah all?
Meanwhile, flunky Fred finally met his phoney Thai bride Orchid this week, unaware that he was being taken for a right royal ride by the scheming cow. Assured that he has found happiness with the alluring, cheap hussy, he started to reach into his wallet to buy her happiness.
Ashley, stunned by the arrival of the cheeky wench, was not convinced by her intentions. He's always been a sharp one.
Candice was forced to admit she'd been duped when sleazy boyfriend Tim's wife turned up at the salon, demanding answers. Angry, she vowed revenge on the two-timing love rat. Ooh.
EastEnders Another paternity-packed week for the residents of the Square as insipid Ian began to fret over the revelation that he could be bastard baby Bobby's dad.
On hearing the news from dirty, dirty, dirty Den, Ian promptly sacked the pink-lipped Pat for failing to disclose the sordid secret.
On taking a DNA test, Ian marched round to gutted Gary's gaff and vowed to take the wee bub back to the chippy and raise him as his own. Lucky little Bobby is just spoilt for choice.
Evil gangster Andy (boo, hiss) threatened to spill the beans to Alfie of his sordid night of passion with kinky wife Kat. Will he find out of his beloved wife's betrayal?
Vicki, of the ever-decreasing American accent, continued her match-making madness by locking Spencer and Kelly in a room in an attempt to spark some romance. After initial bickering and sniping, the young, frivolous twosome inevitably ended up in a passionate embrace. Is romance finally blossoming for the young couple?
Hollyoaks Ellie confronted brother Dan in prison, where she revealed memory of the fateful night in which Toby was killed. Dismayed and distraught, Dan pleaded with his lying sister to come clean.
Following shocking news from the nick regarding her betrayed brother, she was forced to consider her actions. Will she tell the truth and do right by all? She's a selfish one, so probably not.
Great news on the other side of Hollyoaks - Ben and Izzy have finally called it a day following tears, tantrums and tenderness. Poor Ben pleaded with his woeful wife to return home following her indiscreet night with sinister Scott, but, despite his protestations, she refused. Amen to that.
