Robbie's voice-cheat confession

Robbie Williams has confessed to using computer trickery to make his voice sound better on his records.

The pop heartthrob admits he uses vocal-enhancing programme AutoTune in the studio to improve his songs - but claims all other singers do as well.

He revealed: "Everybody uses AutoTune these days. Have you got spellcheck on your computer? Do you use it? Why is that? Can't you spell?"

Meanwhile, Robbie - who will release new album 'Intensive Care' next month - has admitted he was upset by claims his former song-writing partner Guy Chambers was the brains behind all his biggest hits.

He told Britain's Daily Telegraph newspaper: "The thing that irks me most is that people actually believe there is some sinister Mr Big behind me pulling all the strings. When I split up with Guy Chambers, it bent my head to read him described everywhere as 'the man behind the hits' - like I had nothing to do with them."

Robbie, who worked with songwriter Stephen Duffy on the new album, claims he not only co-wrote his latest tracks, but he played instruments on them too.
