Victoria Beckham got drunk on a night out in London without her husband or her wedding ring.

The former Spice Girl, wife of footballer David Beckham, was celebrating a friend's birthday on Tuesday night (22.08.06) and had to be helped out of a club by a bodyguard at 4.45am after drinking too much.

A witness said: "She looked tipsy to say the least."

Victoria, 32, apparently downed glasses of £250-a-bottle Dom Perignon champagne and Matsuhisa Martini cocktails during a seven-hour binge drinking session.

The star, who was wearing a skimpy lace top and bell-bottomed trousers, was seen without her wedding ring.

The couple's marriage has been at the centre of rumours recently amid reports that the couple are struggling to conceive for a fourth time.

Victoria and David are said to be trying for another baby because they are desperate for a girl. The couple already have three sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz.

Victoria was celebrating the 32nd birthday of her friend Tana Ramsay - wife of British TV chef Gordon Ramsay.

The evening began at sushi restaurant Nobu and finished at the Fifty Club in London's Mayfair.
