Rihanna told off by farmer

Rihanna was ordered to cover up after she stripped down to film her new video in a field in Ireland.

Farmer Alan Graham, who owns the field that the popstar rented to film her new video, said he was fetching his tractor when he saw her and thought it was unacceptable.

Graham told the BBC:

"I thought it was inappropriate. I requested them to stop and they did.

"I had my conversation with Rihanna and I hope she understands where I'm coming from. We shook hands."

The farmer also revealed that he did not know who the superstar was when he received a request for use of his field:

"I didn't know who was coming. If the name 'Rihanna' had been mentioned, well, no disrespect but it wouldn't have meant anything."

Filming of the video brought hundreds of people to the area to watch the Umbrella singer in action, so much so that nearby roads became gridlocked, with traffic grinding to a halt.

But that didn't stop the County Down farmer from demanding that Rihanna cover up when using his field, he said:

"From my point of view, it was my land, I have an ethos and I felt it was inappropriate.

"I wish no ill will against Rihanna and her friends. Perhaps they could acquaint themselves with a greater God."

Rihanna was filming the video for her new track We Found Love, which features dance music producer, Calvin Harris.
