Ricky Gervais announces live gigs as 'The Office' character David Brent

Ricky Gervais will perform as his character David Brent from The Office in London this this October.

Following the success of is “Learn To Play Guitar with David Brent” series on YouTube, comedian Ricky Gervais has announced via his Twitter page that he will have live gigs on October 14 and 23 in London. 

 

He will perform as his character in The Office. He also announced that the tickets will be on sale on October 1 at 10am.

 

The comedian will be joined by his band and they will play shows as David Brent & Foregone Conclusion. The two concerts, which are billed as “work in progress”  will take place at Bloomsbury Theatre. 

 

He tweeted on Sunday afternoon: "Foregone Conclusion will be playing London’s Bloomsbury Theatre on the 14th & 23rd of October. Tickets go on sale Tuesday at 10am. Good luck."

 

Among the tracks that he is going to play include Slough, Spaceman Came Down, and Free Love Freeway.
