Renee Zellweger claims she still believes in marriage - despite her tragic split from husband Kenny Chesney.
The Oscar-winning actress, who recently had her union to the country singer annulled after just five months of marriage, says she hasn't lost faith because her parents have stayed together for so long.
She revealed: "My parents have been married for 45 years so I can't help but believe in it.
"I've seen it work. I'm a hopeless romantic. And I believe in love, despite some of my disheartening experiences."
Renee admits she still hopes to find lasting happiness like her mom and dad one day.
She confessed: "Who wouldn't? And not just in a romantic situation, but with your friendships, with everything."
The stunning star, who was left devastated in 1995 when an ex-boyfriend committed suicide, also revealed how she learns from every heartbreak.
She explained in an interview with Britain's OK! magazine: "I've had my heart broken before. I've had alone-on-the-couch nights. With each experience, you look at the next with more wisdom - or at least, that's what you hope."
