Renee Zellweger has revealed she is "very, very happy" after marrying Kenny Chesney.

The 'Brigitte Jones' star, who wed the American country singer after a whirlwind four-month romance, says she is head-over-heels in love.

She confessed: "I haven't had time to absorb it all, but I'm very, very happy.

"I've met someone who understands me and what makes me happy and that's invaluable. Plus he's really cute."

Last week, Chesney claimed the couple's honeymoon was a let-down.

The handsome musician revealed the pair had no time to enjoy a true romantic break because of his gruelling touring schedule.

He revealed: "We honeymooned in Little Rock, Arkansas, at a show. I then had to go back on the road, so we also did Oklahoma, Dallas and San Antonio. It wasn't that great a honeymoon."

Chesney, who married Renee in front of close friends and family on the Caribbean island of St John, also confessed that married life hadn't changed him - yet.

He added: "To be honest, being married is not that different. I'm a little more at ease, though and I'm not searching anymore."
