Rory Bremner has become the third contestant to leave Strictly Come Dancing.
The 50-year-old impressionist and his dancing partner Erin Boag finished bottom of the leaderboard after judgesÂ’ and viewer votes were combined.
When asked to pick his favourite moment of the series by hosts Tess Daily and Claudia Winkleman, Bremner joked:
"Well, a close second was shimmying next to [audience member] John Prescott in the quickstep, I loved that - it was just the best dance of my life."
Bremner becomes the third celebrity to exit the show after Dan Lobb last week, and Edwina Currie in the first week.
Meanwhile on the X Factor, Sami Brookes became the sixth act to be voted off the musical contest.
The 31-year-old was eliminated from the competition after finding herself in the bottom two alongside fellow Overs member, Kitty Brucknell.
Gary Barlow chose to send Brookes home, saying that she was dated, with Kelly Rowland deciding the same. Tulisa chose Brucknell to go, leaving the final decision to Louis who mentors both contestants.
Walsh could have decided to send the vote to ‘Deadlock’ and allowed the audience votes to make the decision, but in a surprising move he instead sent Brookes home.
He said Brucknell's "work ethic" had helped him make the decision, but warned that she would have to do a better job in "connecting with the public".
Speaking after the result, Brookes said:
"This experience has just been amazing. I may not be able to sell a million albums as Gary said, but I am going to sing for the rest of my life."
Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday, October 29 at 6.30pm on BBC One and catch The X Factor next Saturday at 8pm on ITV1.
