Former S Club 7 singer Rachel Stevens is pregnant with her first child.
The pop starlet and Strictly Come Dancing contestant announced the news just ahead of her first wedding anniversary to Alex Bourne.
Stevens' representative said: "We are delighted to announce that our client Rachel Stevens and her husband Alex are expecting their first child later in the year."
The 32-year-old singer also weighed in: "We are thrilled and so excited about becoming parents."
Earlier this week in an interview with The Mirror, Stevens praised her husband and explained that they were still in "honeymoon period",
She said: "I'm really lucky though Âbecause I've found a good one - Alex is a brilliant hubby. He's really supportive and he's always proud of everything I do."
Her last solo album was 2005's 'Come And Get It'. However, she led speculation by recently stating that she had a project in the works. Whether these plans will be shelved given her pregnancy or not remains uncertain.
