US research has uncovered that an unhappy marriage is likely to have a bigger impact on our sleep than factors such as money worries, alcohol intake, caffeine consumption, and how often we have sex.
Disturbances such as difficulty falling asleep, night time awakenings, early morning awakenings, and restless sleep were more common in the women who reported lower marital happiness.
So with this in mind, maybe you should count yourself lucky - sometimes it is better to have the time to yourself (and a good night's sleep), leading your life in singledom.
