Disgraced BBC presenter Angus Deayton is due to make a come back on a rival channel.
The former host of "Have I Got News For You" has apparently signed a deal to present a new comedy quiz on ITV1.
The show, "Bognor or Bust", will be aired later this year - and offers contestants the chance to win a seaside holiday.
Deayton was dropped by BBC2 in 2002 after newspaper allegations of drug abuse. The presenter, who will be eager to put the past behind him, was accused of taking cocaine and visiting prostitutes.
A spokeswoman for ITV said they were talking to Deayton about a number of other projects, but he had not signed an exclusive deal with the channel.
Since his dismissal from the long-running quiz, he has continued to work for the Beeb, including appearances in BBC Two's Comic Relief University Challenge and a role in dark comedy Nighty Night.
A number of one-off presenters, including Bruce Forsyth, Boris Johnson, and Charlotte Church, have headed "Have I Got News For You" since Deayton's departure.
