Both Sony and Microsoft have unveiled their consoles: the PS4 and Xbox One. But which one is better?
Some analysts agree that Sony is offering better game machine. It offers slightly better specs and less worries about unnecessary add-ons that gamers usually don’t even care about.
However, Microsoft’s console is very promising. Even though analysts criticised Xbox One multi media features, they are key to its overall appeal. For a box that may end up in front room for up to seven years, it offers a lot of functionalities.
The question is; do gamers really look forward to having these functionalities? For example, is TV that big of a deal when you get NetFlix on your laptop and a HDMI cable to plug it into your TV? Do you want to Skype people while playing the game?
Microsoft could be offering more than what gamers really need – the do-everything smartbox can be just too much for other people.
As for the tag prices, the Xbox One will cost £429 in UK and will be out in November. Meanwhile, PS4 will be for £349. Release date is still unknown.
