'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' has remained at the top of the UK box office for a third week.
The film held off competition from Disney animation 'G-Force', which took £2.92m.
'G- Force', an all action adventure about secret agent guinea pigs, was in second place taking £2.48m on its opening weekend.
'The Taking of Pelham 123', starring Denzel Washington and John Travolta, debuted at No 3 with £1.78m, while 'The Proposal', starring Sandra Bullock, dropped two places to No 4.

Comedy 'Land of the Lost', starring Will Ferrell, opened at No 6 taking an underwhelming £642,568.
'G-Force', featuring the voices of Jon Favreau, Steve Buscemi and Penelope Cruz, tells of a group of guinea pigs who become special agents for the CIA and topped the US box office last month.
