Here is a list of insurance companies in the UK that offer travel insurance policies. Keep in mind however, that everyone has specific insuranceneeds so there are other companies available.

The Post Office: The Travel Insurance Classic and Premium policies can cover a person for delayed or cancelled flights. This includes consequential losses such as car hire and hotel costs.

PJ Hayman: The Travel Plus policy (Premier & Premier Plus) covers for cancelled flights and financial failure of accommodation provider. It can also provide coverage for consequential loss.

Staysure: This one offers more extensive coverage compared with other travel insurance companies in the UK.

You could be covered should the travel or accommodation provider go out of business. However, keep in mind that additional coverage requires additional premium.

All Clear Travel Insurance: This one is highly recommended for older people who want to travel as it focuses on serving travelers with significant medical condition.
