Singer Peter Andre got a shock when a fan proposed to him at a gig for a Manchester radio station.

The 'Mysterious Girl' heartthrob was taken aback when the Key 103 presenter, Chelsea Norris, got down on one knee after his performance and popped the question.

He stood stunned for a few moments before realising she was joking, and answered: "We should get a room first!"

Andre was one of several acts who performed at the Christmas Jingle Ball event, including Beverley Knight, Taio Cruise, Pixie Lott and X Factor's JLS.
