Pete up for eviction

Pete is facing eviction from the 'Big Brother' house for the first time.

In an eviction twist, the contestants were asked to only nominate one housemate yesterday (24.07.06), without knowing that the 'best friend' of the nominated contestants would also face the public vote.

The housemates were asked to pick their best friend as part of this week's task.

Welsh beauty Imogen and Golden Ticket winner Susie are both up for the boot as well as new housemates Michael and Spiral, while favourite to win Pete and camp waiter Richard are the third couple to be nominated.

It is believed some of the housemates will escape eviction thanks to their more popular partners.

Richard - who narrowly escaped the boot last week, when flamboyant recruitment consultant Jayne was voted off the show - is expected stay in the house again this time round, because Pete is his partner.
