'Big Brother' winner Pete Bennett could be the next Billy Idol, if hit songwriter Guy Chambers gets his way.
The Tourette's sufferer - who is the lead singer of glam rock band Daddy Fantastic - has reportedly teamed up with the music producer to work on a solo album.
Guy - who has penned a host of smash hits, including Robbie Williams' 'Angels' - reportedly wants to launch Pete as the next Billy Idol because of the striking similarities between the him and the punk rocker.
A source said: "Pete's a fan of Billy Idol. Let's face it he looks a lot like him so Guy's using that as a template."
Meanwhile, Pete got a taste of his new-found fame yesterday (06.09.06), as he was mobbed by female fans in Camden, North London.
The 24-year-old - who is romancing fellow contestant Nikki Grahame - stopped to sign autographs at a pub in the trendy area of the UK capital.
An onlooker said: "Those girls were swarming round him like bees to honey."
