Robbie Williams has snubbed Take That's comeback tour - to perform with the Pet Shop Boys.
The 'Angels' singer - who was set to join his old
bandmates for at least one of their forthcoming shows - has backed out saying he is too busy.
The 32-year-old star has reportedly been spending time recording a dance album with the Pet Shop Boys - and is said to be planning to join the chart veterans for a secret London concert.
A source told Britain's News of the World newspaper: "Initially Robbie wanted to join Take That on the tour - he was quite excited about seeing his fans again.
"However, when the Pet Shop Boys asked him to join them for their one-off show, he jumped at the chance."
Robbie was recently reported to be recording a "Kylie style" dance album - to please his gay fans.
The 'Let Me Entertain You' singer has reportedly hooked up with Madonna's former producer William Orbit for the 'gay' project.
