Paris' mistaken identity

Paris Hilton was left red-faced after being mistaken for herself.
The 'Stars Are Blind' singer and Pamela Anderson were dining at Los Angeles' lavish Koi restaurant last week when another customer approached the heiress and said: "Don't take this the wrong way, but you look like Paris Hilton."
The New York Daily News newspaper says the embarrassed heiress replied: "I am Paris Hilton."
The encounter is not Paris' only social snub in recent weeks.
She was reportedly banned from another A-list party.
Paris was allegedly told not to show up at the week-long Esquire Show House event in Los Angeles because organisers "don't want her type there".
That came days after Paris was reportedly barred from a party at top New York celebrity hangout, the Gramercy Park Hotel.
A security team was apparently told not to let Paris in to the bash because "the likes of Paris Hilton and her ilk are not welcome here".
Two weeks earlier, Paris was refused entry to New York's Bungalow 8. She was told by doormen that the club was "full to capacity".
