Clive Owen has praised his 'Derailed' co-star Jennifer Aniston for being a "brave and strong woman".
The heartthrob actor admires the former 'Friends' star - who divorced 'Ocean's 11' actor Brad Pitt last year - for the way she copes with the rumours surrounding her love life.
He told Britain's Glamour magazine: "Jennifer is a very brave and strong woman. She never once let her personal problems affect her work, even though she knew every newspaper and magazine was dragging her private life out.
"She was always smiling and chatting with the crew, always ready to rehearse with me and the other actors, and just generally very professional."
The actor also laughed off claims he had a fling with Aniston.
He said: "It's so ridiculous. Every time an actor and actress are working together on a film, there's this irresistible impulse to link them romantically."
He added: "But it's awful that every time Jennifer works on a movie, there are stories she's having an affair with her leading man.
"She's tough, though, she just ignores it and gets on with her life."
