Charity Dingle walks out on Emmerdale in a blaze of glory after leaving arch-rival Sadie King on the floor.
Actress Emma Atkins ensures that her character Charity goes out with a bang as she brings her long-running dispute with Sadie, played by Patsy Kensit, to a violent end.
Charity turns up at the 40th birthday celebrations for Sadie's husband Jimmy and lets her love rival hear a few home truths.
She exposes the truth about the affair she has been having with Jimmy, played by Nick Miles, as well as revealing how he has paid her tens of thousands of pounds to keep her quiet and stop her showing a video of the two lovers in bed together.
Sadie ends up attending to her bruised face after a Charity hook leaves her on the ground.
It brings to an end a bitter feud between the two, which originally saw Sadie attempt to cause Charity's wedding to end in disaster, and leaves actress Emma going out of the soap on a high.
"I'm ecstatic Charity comes out on top where she belongs," she told the Daily Star.
"It's brilliant that she gets to leave in a blaze of glory with a trail of destruction behind her."
