Munich-based cosinuss° is trying to raise funds for a smart in-ear thermometer for children. The device, which has been designed to take temperature continuously, warns parents if it gets too high or rises too fast allowing them to act accordingly. This also allows parents to follow the effects of their treatment.
degree° can be worn day and night eliminating the need for parents to get up and take their children’s temperature several times. One glance on their smartphone is all it takes for them to know the exact temperature. The smartphone app also shows a time of readings allowing parents to determine where the temperature is trending.
The startup company has already raised £21,000 on Kickstarter. The all or nothing project has still 25 days to go to raise a total of £50,000.
