Adjusting to a major change after Susanna Reid left the programme in March, BBC Breakfast's new line-up has been announced with Naga Munchetty being confirmed as co-host alongside Charlie Stayt.
The duo will anchor the programme from Thursday to Saturday while Bill Turnbull and Louise Minchin will be handling the morning reporting duties from Monday to Wednesday.
Breakfast editor Adam Bullimore said that Munchetty, who is also is a regular on BBC World News, is a “fantastic addition” to the presenting team.
"She's already a familiar face to our viewers and very popular with the team. She has bags of journalistic experience and personality," he added.
James Harding, director of BBC News, said: "Naga brings a depth of journalistic experience and a smart curiosity to Britain's most successful breakfast programme.
"She's a terrific broadcaster and I'm sure that she will swiftly establish herself as a key part of the exceptional talented team who draw seven million viewers every morning."
Sally Nugent and Mike Bushell will remain as sports presenters while Steph McGovern will still be the business host. Carol Kirkwood will also remain as weather forecaster for the early morning programme.
