As Prime Minister David Cameron build a new cabinet structure, Amber Rudd was promoted as Energy and Climate Change Secretary while Anna Soubry and Priti Patel moved up to small business and employment ministers. Boris Johnson, meanwhile, will not be made a minister.
Grant Shapps, the former party chairman, will move to international development minister.
Other appointments include Sajid Javid (from Culture Secretary to Business Secretary), Greg Hands (new Chief Secretary for Treasury), Tory MP John Whittingdale (Secretary of State for Culture, Media, and Sport), and Greg Clark (from Universities Miniter to Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government).
Oliver Letwin, meanwhile, will serve as head of the Cabinet Office while Matt Hancock is the new Paymaster General and Minister for Civil Service and Efficiency.
As he forms a new team, the prime minister, is filling a number of top roles previously held by Lib Dems in the former coalition government.
Mr Cameron said that his first term was "about repair and recovery.”
"It will be our task to renew a sense of fairness in our society - where those who work hard and do the right thing are able to get on."
