Former All Saint Natalie Appleton has packed her bags and said goodbye to the I'm a Celebrity jungle after feeling victimised by the British public.
The tearful wife of Prodigy singer Liam Howlett was picked for her fifth Bushtucker Trial yesterday, equalling the record of John 'Focus' Fashanu for the number of times one camp member has been responsible for winning her fellow jungle mates their food.
The 31-year-old singer becomes the second contestant to walk out after ex-East 17 star Brian Harvey gave up on Friday.
Yesterday viewers saw Nat struggle with her fourth Bushtucker Trial and end up with only one meal for the camp.
In the trial, known as the Slither River, Nat had five minutes to release ten buoys tied to a riverbed by a rope and coil.
After several attempts, she released the first buoy and her first star. But with tanks full of snakes and Nat's personal favourite - eels - released at regular intervals, the task was only going to get harder and she gave up.
"I'm really light headed. I'm really sorry everybody," she said as she was consoled by presenters Ant and Dec on the riverbank.
Merciless viewers wanted to see her go through it all yet again and voted for her to do Monday's Bushtucker trial despite Ant's insistence that "there are nine other people in there you know!"
But the thought of another trial was too much for Nat and she became the second contestant to quit the camp in the first week.
She walked out at 10:30 Australian time (12.30am GMT) today and is thought to have gone to a hotel with her sister Lee.
