German premier Gerhard Schroeder's brother has been lined up to enter Germany's Big Brother.
Lothar Vosseler, 57, who is currently unemployed, confirmed that he will be moving into the Big Brother house on June 11th.
"Two days after I move in there will be regional and European elections," Vosseler told German newspaper Bild.
"The station wants to get a debate on politics started by my visit."
The fourth series of Big Brother is currently being shown by RTL 2 in Germany.
Vosseler, three years younger than the German chancellor, has previously worked as a tabloid columnist and a guide on boat tours of Majorca.
He is Mr Schroeder's half brother.
