Morpheus team is coming up with its very own AI-based smart lamp that can directly compete with that of GE. The new device has been designed to control other smart devices from NEST, Hue and Philips as well as work well with Google Home and Amazon’s Alexa for voice-assisted AI. In addition, the device has security features including sensors that can detect smoke, C02, temperature and humidity.
Momo is completely independent and self-sufficient. It is not also cloud-based. The lamp is able to receive voice commands and has been programmed to learn the habits of the user through a period of time before it starts its very own automation process.
The lamp also feature gesture control, which allows users to adjust the brightness of LED bulb and change its colours using gestures. It can also be rotated if users want to use its built-in camera to take surveillance of the area.
The device is available on Kickstarter and comes with an early bird price tag of $279. Its retail price is a whopping $700.
