In the wake of the Connecticut elementary school massacre, Moby joined several celebrities and Twitter users around the world in expressing their horror with the latest shooting incident in the United States.
The singer then urged his fans to join an online petition to get the attention of legislators so a new, tighter gun control law can be made.
Moby took to Twitter after learning the shooting incident at the Sandy Hook Elementary School on Friday, which killed 26 children and adults. Moby wrote: “more heartbreaking school shootings. dear god, it's just awful.”
He added: “If stricter gun control saves even one child's life isn't it worth it? Immediately address the issue of gun control through the introduction of legislation in Congress.”
Following his series of tweets, the singer provided followers with a link to the online petition directed at President Barack Obama and his administration. The petition was reportedly signed by at least 160,000 individuals since creation on Friday.
Moby updated his fans moments later saying: “Gun control petition is most popular ever on White House site.”
Controlling a gun could be hard for some users, but it can lessen by choosing the best ar10 rifle that is easy to handle and a small thing.
Moby joins other Hollywood celebrities and personalities who are calling for tighter, more effective gun control laws in the United States.
This is to make sure that shooting rampage in Sandy Hook Elementary School, and in Colorado where 12 movie goers were killed, will not happen again.
