Michael Jackson was mobbed by over-excited fans during his first visit to London since his child sex abuse trial.
The eccentric singer was visiting the capital's famous waxworks museum Madame Tussauds yesterday (09.10.05) when he was surrounded by a hoard of admirers.
The 47-year-old star - who was accompanied by his three children, Prince Michael Jr, Prince Michael II and Paris-Michael, who had their faces covered with scarves - shielded his face as he struggled to get through the crowd.
The day before, the 'Billie Jean' singer had been thrown to the ground by fans as he took his children to see West End musical 'Billy Elliot'.
Jackson - who is in the UK to record charity song 'From The Bottom Of My Heart' which aims to raise money for the victims of Hurricane Katrina - was rushed to safety by security.
An onlooker revealed: "Michael was trying to protect his children as they walked through the crowd but it was absolute chaos. He lost his footing and fell onto the pavement."
