Jennifer Lopez is being targeted by animal rights campaigner Heather Mills McCartney for wearing mink eyelash extensions.

Last week, the Latin diva's Sweetface fashion label offices in New York were stormed by Heather and PETA activists who staged a protest against the label's use of fur.

The former model, married to Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney, was attempting to show Lopez a video showing raccoons being skinned alive but was unable to because the sexy star was not in the building.

Undeterred, the blonde beauty is now stepping up her campaign against Lopez, and is outraged after discovering J.Lo wears eyelashes made from mink fur.

A friend of Heather's is quoted by Britain's Sunday Mirror as saying: "Heather was absolutely astonished - and could not believe J.Lo is allowed to get away with it.

"It left Heather so angry she was determined to target her - whatever the consequences."

During last week's protest, Heather allegedly had her false leg knocked off.

The star, who lost her real leg in a motorbike accident in 1993, reportedly lost the artificial limb after clashing with Lopez's security guards as they tried to remove her from the premises.
