Following Sony’s announcement of PlayStation 4 launch date, Microsoft has announced that its newest console, Xbox One will be coming out to 13 countries a week early compared to its closest rival. It will be available to UK, US, Canada, Ireland, Canada, Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Brazil, Austria, Mexico, New Zealand, and Australia. It will be available to other countries in early 2014.
In a statement, Xbox’s marketing vice-president, Yusuf Mehdi said: "The culmination of many years of listening to you, our fans, developing innovative technology, and partnering with the best game and entertainment partners in the industry has brought us to this point.”
"There is still a lot more work to do, but the teams are making excellent progress and are focused on launch."
He also said that pre-orders for the company’s newest console sold out faster than any of the Microsoft’s previous gaming products. He added that the newest console’s CPU is upgraded from 1.6Ghz to 1.75Ghz.
