McFly’s Harry Judd, who is training for a marathon scheduled to take place in the next three weeks, has revealed that he had developed heart condition due to training. The Strictly Come Dancing 2011 winner says it is nothing to worry about but he needed to take marathon training slightly easier.
Talking to his followers on Twitter, the McFly drummer wrote: “So I've acquired and [sic] ectopic heart beat through excessive exercise. It's known as a Wandering Pacemaker commonly seen in athletes....”
It continued to read “...It takes causes symptoms or requires treatment. Still it's really annoying!!!
“It proves I've even pushing as hard as possible for the marathon + if u've been thinking of sponsoring me then surely that will pursuance u? (sic).”
He added: “It's nothing to worry about but just means I have to chill out a bit :-/.
“Athletes get it though... :-).”
Harry, together with four friends, will run 26 miles for charity on April 21st. They hope to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust. Two weeks later, they will take part in Tough Mudder, a 13-mile assault course through a range of obstacles.
