TV presenter Denise Van Outen has given birth to a healthy 7lbs 10oz baby girl.
Betsy Mead was born at 12:24pm on Saturday May 1 to proud parents Van Outen and West End star Lee Mead.
The happy couple had chosen the name some months ago but had decided to keep it a secret so referred to her as teapot.
Following a safe delivery, the 35-year-old presenter and performer said: "Betsy is happy and healthy, we're both very proud. I think she looks like her dad!"
The pair, who married in May 2009, said they were "proud parents and very ecstatic" about the arrival of baby Betsy and said they be trying for another child soon as they were "madly in love and have so much love to give a family".
However, the blonde is also eager to get back to work, with meetings lined up to launch her DVO range of maternity wear and plans to be a guest presenter on the Channel 4 Paul O'Grady show alongside Melanie Sykes.
Van Outen told the Daily Mail: "I am really looking forward to being a mum. I've been broody for years so I am very excited about it, but I don't want to give up working because I love it.
"I will never give it up. I have been doing it since I was seven years old, it's in my blood so you can't just give something up like that."
Van Outen met Mead (28) when he was a contestant on BBC talent show 'Any Dream Will Do' which he went on to win becoming the next Joseph for Andrew Lloyd Webber's new production.
