Madonna's mobile phone ban

Madonna has banned her children from using mobile phones.

The sexy singer - who is married to film director Guy Ritchie - insists she would never buy daughter Lourdes, nine, and five-year-old son Rocco phones because it's unnecessary.

She told Britain's Radio One: "There's no way they will be getting phones. That's not going to be happening."

Earlier this year, Madonna revealed she is a strict parent - and even banned her children from watching TV.

The pop diva admits she's a tough mother and says Rocco and Lourdes live by strict rules.

Madonna, 47, said: "My kids don't watch TV and I have strict rules. My daughter has a problem picking things up in her room.

"If you leave your clothes on the floor, we put them in a bin bag. She has to earn them back by being tidy."
