Madonna claims she's more stubborn than a terrorist.
The pop diva admits pop stars and fanatics are similar because both are deeply devoted to their cause - but says singers are worse because they're so narrow-minded they won't compromise.
She joked to Harper's Bazaar magazine: "What's the difference between a pop star and a terrorist? You can negotiate with a terrorist."
Meanwhile, the 47-year-old is preparing to perform a duet with animated band the Gorillaz at the Grammy Awards this week.
The star agreed to open the ceremony with the cartoon group because she's a huge fan of their music.
The animated band has been nominated for four accolades, including Record of the Year for 'Feel Good Inc'.
Madonna's publicist Liz Rosenberg said: "Madonna really likes them, and they like Madonna. They are going to do something together."
Rosenberg remained tight-lipped about what the star would perform at the February 8 event, but added: "It's going to be stupendous. Another Madonna showstopper."
