Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are set to adopt their seventh child, according to reports.
Oscar winner Jolie, 35, and partner Pitt are said to be in the process of adopting a four-year-old Haitian girl called Leah.
The couple already have three biological and three adopted children, from Cambodia, Ethiopia and Vietnam.
A source told the Daily Mirror:
“Angelina’s lawyers are in the process of getting an authorisation so Leah can spend some time with her in America. That’s standard procedure, basically they need to make sure Leah will adapt well.
“A lot of observers from groups such as the Red Cross are ensuring that Angelina is treated like anybody else and not fast-tracked, which would be viewed invidiously.”
Angelina first met Leah, who was orphaned in the earthquake that ripped through Haiti last year, in February 2010, just a month after the disaster.
The child is expected to visit Brad and the coupleÂ’s other children, Maddox, 10, Pax Thien, seven, Zahara, six, Shiloh, four, and two-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, before the adoption is finalised later this year.
