Courtney Love has vowed never to go topless again - because she is too old to be "slutty".

The troubled singer, who also claims to be clean of drink and drugs, says her outrageous antics are over because she has more self-respect.

The former Hole star exposed her breasts in public twice last year - once on America's David Letterman TV chat show and again to a fan in a fast-food restaurant.

She told America's Spin magazine: "I'm 41, I can't show my t*ts on-stage anymore.

"Me on David Letterman's desk? That's the last t*tty you get. The guy at Wendy's restaurant? That was the end of me and my t*ts.

"I'm not slutty and I don't need to prove myself so much. I care about myself a little bit more now."

Earlier this week, it was revealed Courtney first took drugs at the tender age of four.

According to a new book by her mother, Linda Carroll, Courtney was given "magic pills" by her father, Hank, who then drew psychedelic doodles over her body.

Carroll, who eventually took Hank to court to prevent him having unsupervised access to Courtney, also claims her wild daughter was in therapy at the age of six.
