Courtney Love shocked fans by flashing her genitals at a concert.

The former 'Hole' singer, and widow of Nirvana's Kurt Cobain, was playing at the annual Women's Night benefit for the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center on Saturday (29.05.06) when it happened.

One onlooker said: "She pulled a Paris Hilton. It looked like she could use a good wax though."

Love, who was apparently sober at the time, turned up at the event unannounced, then got up on stage and played a set with Smashing Pumpkins lead singer Billy Corgan.

Meanwhile, former 4 Non Blondes singer Linda Perry has been given the job of resurrecting the rocker's career.

Perry - who has also written and produced tracks for Christina Aguilera, Pink, Gwen Stefani and Kelly Osbourne - insists Love still has huge talent despite her last album being labelled a flop.

She said: "That woman is brilliant, and I can't allow myself as a music lover and someone who really respects that artist to go down with 'America's Sweetheart'.

"That record sucked. She knows it. The world knows it. It was a horrible, crap-ass record.

"She's really focused, a pleasure to be around, looks great, sounds great, really great ideas, great songs she's written... so rehab was really good."
