Soap spoiler alert! There's a new romance in store on the Cobbles for Tina McIntyre, it has been revealed.
Coronation Street star Michelle Keegan confirmed the future love interest but remained tight-lipped about the details in an interview with We love Telly.
She said: "There are plans for a new relationship, but it comes right out of left field and won't be like any she's had before. I'm looking forward to playing that!"
Keegan's character is currently engaged to builder Jason Grimshaw (Ryan Thomas), but the star has previously hinted that their pair won't have a happy ending together.
Commenting that the couple are not well-matched as Tina deals with the suspicious death of dad Joe, Keegan told Digital Spy: "Jason just isn't good for Tina at the minute. Jason thinks that Tina should get over Joe's death and move on with her life but Tina can't do that."
"They've got two different outlooks on life - Jason's very black and white, whereas Tina thinks things though a little more and is quite emotionally charged. They're exact opposites in that respect," she said.
Details of Tina's new lover are being kept under wraps, but after sharing a cheeky kiss with him at Christmas, perhaps Nick Tilley (Ben Price) could be the one.
