Another couple from Lincs has won the lottery, making them the third couple to win in rural fenland.
The Canning’s live in Deeping St James, Lincs, which is just 20 miles west of the town where one of the largest ever EuroMillions tickets was bought.
Gerry, 63, and his wife Lisa, 48, won the lottery on February 14.
After laid-back Gerry matched all six numbers, he said: “Oh dear, I think I’ve won the lottery’ before calmly carrying on with a game of cards while Lisa scrubbed an oven.
Another couple who won big in the area included Dave and Angela Dawes of Wisbech, Cambs, who took home £101 million fortune in 2011.
At the time Dave said: "We were watching TV and the EuroMillions draw show came on so we kept watching, not thinking we would win anything.
"We got our tickets out and watched in shock as, one by one, the numbers came up on the line I'd chosen.
"We couldn't believe it! It was too late to call Camelot so I kept the ticket on me all night until the morning but we didn't sleep a wink."
Meanwhile, another couple, Richard and Angela Maxwell who live 30 miles North of the Canning’s landed a £53 million jackpot.
