Lost co-creator Damon Lindelof has claimed that the cult show will eventually return to our screens, according to reports.
Lindelof hinted at a possible revival at Variety's Entertainment and Technology Summit, saying:
"It's been two years [since the show ended] and we told the story we wanted to tell."
However, the Star Trek writer and producer did add that he would not have a hand in a new series, but would be happy for someone else to oversee a continuation:
"I do feel like the world has not seen the end of Lost but I'm not going to have any involvement.
"It would be hypocritical for me to say I'm going to [reboot] Star Trek but I don't want anyone to touch Lost."
Lost ran for six series' from 2004 to 2010 and followed a group of plane crash survivors, forced to live with each other on a remote island.
The last episode aired in May 2010 on ABC.
Lindelof's most recent project, Prometheus, is out on 1 June in the UK.
