London's Heathrow flies into the world's top 10 airports

London’s Heathrow airport is among the top 10 best airports in the world based on an airline and airport review.

Skytrax, the airport review organisation, has recently conducted a survey of nearly 13 million passengers globally. 

 

Based on their findings, London’s Heathrow airport is the tenth best airport in the world. Participants were asked to decide on which of the 410 airports in the world would make it to the top list. 

 

Of Heathrow, Skytrax said: “Heathrow has its very own art gallery as well as designer shopping facilities to keep passengers busy."

 

The number one spot went to Changi Airport in Singapore. Skytrax explained:  "With features like a swimming pool, jacuzzi and butterfly garden, it's no wonder it came out on top."
