December 12th, 2012 or 12-12-12 isn’t a lucky day for troubled actress Lindsay Lohan; this is the day when a Los Angeles judge revoked her probation and set the probation violation hearing for January 15th, 2013.
Indeed, it isn’t the best way to start a new year. The hearing aims to address misdemeanor charges against Lohan, which includes resisting an officer, lying to the police, and reckless driving.
Lindsay Lohan who wasn’t present during the arraignment, was represented by her lawyer Shawn Holley in a Southland, California, courtroom on Wednesday morning.
Commissioner Jane Godfrey will determine in January whether Lohan violated her probation. Lohan could face up to 240 days in jail if convicted.
Lindsay Lohan’s attorney made no comment when asked by reporters waiting outside the court. However, she wished them “happy holidays.”
Reportedly, one journalist was able to make the lawyer smile when asking; “How does it feel to be in court all the time?" apparently referring to her client’s several run-ins with the law.
