Lindsay Lohan arrested at New York nightclub on assault charge

The actress was arrested for allegedly punching a woman in the face.

Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan is once again making headlines after getting arrested at a New York nightclub on an assault charge. The actress was reportedly later released on Thursday morning.

According to a police report, Lohan allegedly punched a 28-year-old woman inside club Avenue in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighbourhood.

Coming out from the precinct, the Mean Girl star hustled into a waiting SUV. She draped her personal security blazer over her head. She is due in court at a later date to face the charge.

Lindsay’s arrest surely didn’t make the life of the trouble actress any better. Her latest TV movie Liz & Dick was panned by critics and was watched by only 3.5million viewers, according to reports.
