Les Miserables co-stars Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe took to the stage in Manhattan, New York, over the weekend to sing songs from their new movie according to reports.
Crowe played in a band together with Alan Doyle, his Robinhood co-star, at Joe’s Pub in New York on Saturday night, as reported by Female First. Hugh, also a star of the popular films X-Men, was in the audience when Crowe asked him to go on stage.
Jackman reportedly borrowed a bow tie from other guests to somehow match Crowe’s tuxedo outfit before they performed “The Confrontation”.
Samantha Barks, another Les Miserables star, was also present to join at the gig.
Les Miserables, which comes from a novel written by Victor Hugo, is based on France’s history.
