Les and Cilla's wedding disaster

'Coronation Street' lovebirds Les Battersby and Cilla Brown's dream wedding turns into a series of catastrophes before they tie the knot.

First, bride Cilla - played by Wendi Peters - is late paying for her flowers and furious flower arranger Tracy Barlow puts them up for sale in a fit of temper.

Cilla is still desperate to have the colourful blooms so flings a child's bicycle through Tracy's window to try to get to the bouquet.

Then her groom Les - who is played by actor Bruce Jones - will be forced to don a neck brace for his nuptials after injuring himself in a car crash.

The other car in the smash will be carrying rockers Status Quo - who also end up injured after the collision.

The pair finally make it to the altar, and Les later gets the opportunity to perform with the band at his reception at the Rovers.

The 'Coronation Street' wedding will air next Monday.
