Kylie Minogue says she would love to become anonymous.

The pop singer has confessed she dreams about having a normal life where no-one recognises her on the street.

She said: "Even as an experiment it would be great. I'd get on the bus. Just walking around would be a treat."

The sexy star also admitted she once went out in disguise so fans couldn't tell who she was.

But the 35-year-old singer - who is dating French actor Olivier Martinez - revealed that despite her cunning camouflage she was still spotted straight away.

She told Britain's Daily Record newspaper: "Once I wore a dark wig and a baseball cap and people went 'Oh there's Kylie, in a dark wig and baseball cap."

Meanwhile, Kylie says she loves working with other singers because they make her perform better.

The Australian singer - who has previously collaborated with rock star Nick Cave and pop group The Scissor Sisters - says she loves working on duets because it makes her feel less insecure as a solo artist.

She said: "I think most performers have a world of insecurity and it's good to know there is a mutual admiration there when you work with other performers."
